Brief HistoryTrisakti University was established by the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Science in his letter No. 13/dar/1965 dated 29 November, 1965. At the same time the Civil Engineering department was also set up as one of the 5 (five) departments in the Faculty of Engineering. Then on 23 September, 1981 the Minister of Education and Culture in the Decree No. 0269/O/1981 officially recognized the Civil Engineering Department’s degree program as “Equivalent” to a bachelor degree.
Then, the Civil Engineering Department became one of the three departments in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) upon approval from the Minister of Education (MENDIKBUD) and Culture in his letter No. 0589/O/1983.
