There are several activities carried out to foster and develop soft skills from students, such as Basic Training in Student Leadership (LDKM), Basic Training in Student Management Leadership (LKMM), Community Service (PKM)). The activities of LDKM and LKMM usually done in a campus environment with lecturer supervision conducted for 1 month on Friday and Saturday.. Most of the material provided is teamwork, group attitudes, communication, and presentations.
Meanwhile, LKMM is an activity that is one level above the LDKM and is optional. Participants in this activity are the results of the selection process. The material provided included national values in leadership, deepening of fighting power, multicultural understanding, dedication, and work ethic.
PKM (Community Service) activities carried out in environments far from big cities and are public facilities that need improvement, which aims to realize the theories that have been obtained in LDK in real action in the community. In addition, it increases tolerance, cooperation, and independence among students.
In 2017 the PKM was conducted in Gunung Pancar. Sentul Area, West Java. For one day participants took part in the repair of school facilities by making benches, painting walls of buildings, and cleaning toilets.
