Learning Outcomes

A. KNOWLEDGE
  1. Master theoretical concept of engineering sciences, engineering principles, and engineering designs required for geotechnical engineering and, transportation engineering and construction design analysis for infrastructure such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water buildings
  2. Master the concepts and principles of natural science in applying mathematical engineering in the areas of geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, as well as the design and construction of infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, buildings and water buildings
  3. Master the principles and techniques of geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, as well as the design and construction of infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, buildings and waterworks
  4. Master the principles, rules, norms, standard guidelines and manuals for geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, as well as infrastructural design and construction, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and waterworks;
  5. Master the principles and current economic, social, ecological issues in general
  6. Understand communication techniques, current and updated technological developments.
B. GENERAL SKILL
  1. Be able to apply logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in the context of the development or implementation of science and technology based on individual expertise
  2. Be able to demonstrate independent, qualified, and measurable performance
  3. Be able to assess the implications of the development or implementation of science and technology applying human values and based on individual expertise as well as scientific principles, rules, and ethics in order to generate solutions, ideas, design
  4. Be able to collate scientific description of the above mentioned study results in the form of a thesis or final project report, and upload it on the university websites
  5. Be able to make appropriate decisions in the context of problem solving in the field of individual expertise, based on the analysis of information and data
  6. Be able to maintain and develop a network with supervisors, colleagues, and peers both inside and outside the institution.
C. SPESIFIC SKILL
  1. Be able to apply the principles of mathematics and natural sciences, and engineering principles to solve complex problems in the field of geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and planning and construction of infrastructure such as power, buildings and waterworks.
  2. Be able to discover the source of engineering problems in the field of geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and planning and construction of infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, buildings structures through a process of research, analysis and interpretation of data and information based on engineering principles
  3. Be able to conduct research that includes the identification, formulation and analysis of engineering problems in the fields of infrastructural engineering, such as roads, bridges, buildings and waterworks
  4. Be able to find alternative solutions to engineering problems in the field of geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and planning and construction of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, buildings, and structures with consideration to economic, public health and safety, socio-cultural, and environmental factors.
  5. Be able to choose resources and utilize engineering analysis and design tools based on information technology and computation appropriate to geotechnical engineering, transportation, and planning and construction of infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, buildings and water structures.
D. ATTITUDE
  1. Show devotion to God Almighty and show a religious attitude
  2. Uphold the human values in line of duty based on religions, morals and ethics
  3. Contribute in improving the quality of life of society, nation, state, and civilization based on ‘Pancasila’ – the Five Basic Principles of the Republic of Indonesia
  4. Play the role as a patriotic and nationalistic citizen and have a sense of responsibility to the State and the Nation
  5. Appreciate the diversity in cultures, views, religions and beliefs, as well as original ideas and findings of other people
  6. Cooperate and have social sensitivity as well as care for the community and the environment
  7. Obey the laws and be discipline in the community life and the state
  8. Internalize academic values, norms, and ethics
  9. Demonstrate a responsible attitude towards work in the field of individual expertise
  10. Internalize an independent, resilient and entrepreneurial spirit.
